So I'm buying a used Prius tomorrow. The two best options are a red with 20k miles for 20k USD and a beige with 17k miles for 22k USD. Which colour should I get?

You realize what you're saying here? Why pay new car prices for a used car?

Never mind, you probably don't want my opinion anyway. Spend the 22k. Think of it as an overpriced lease with no warranty.

New Priuses around here go for 30k+ generally.

California's really expensive, this is just about the cheapest used Prius on the market. 60 MPG highway. A new one would be easily 10-13k more.

btw, the prius doesnt get 60 highway. Plus wait til you see how you have to drive to get that mileage.
