LIZELLA, Ga. — A 35-year-old Lizella man was arrested on child porn charges Friday, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
A release from the GBI says the investigation stemmed from cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The tips were related to "possible sexual exploitation of children using an internet service," the release says.

Those tips led them to David Heath II.
He's charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of children, possession of child porn, and possession of meth, the GBI says.
The Jones County Sheriff's Office helped the GBI with the investigation, the release says.
Heath is being held at the Jones County Jail, according to the GBI.
Anyone with information about this case or any other cases of child exploitation can call the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Child Exploitation Unit at 404-270-8870.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Flagstaff police arrested three people after the death of a 6-year-old boy, the department announced Monday.
Anthony Jose Archibeque-Martinez, 23, Elizabeth Archibeque-Martinez, 26, and Ann Marie Martinez, 50, were all booked into the Coconino County Jail for first degree felony homicide and two counts of child abuse.

Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive child Monday around noon. Officers immediately began life-saving efforts until medical personnel arrived.
The child was pronounced dead on scene.
Flagstaff PD detectives interviewed members of the family residing in the residence with the child and a search warrant was conducted.
Police say the child appeared malnourished. There were no obvious signs of trauma.

The parents of the 6-year-old boy admitted the child and his 7-year-old brother, who police say also appeared malnourished, were kept in the bedroom closet and denied food at times.
The parents told detectives the boys were kept in the closet because they were stealing food, sneaking out at night while the parents slept, police say.
According to police, the parents estimated the children had been kept in the closet for about one month.
The grandmother told detectives she was aware of the condition the children were kept in and she, too, disciplined the kids when they stole food, according to police.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and pending the medical examiner’s report for manner of death findings.
The Department of Child Safety confirmed that the child's siblings are currently in their care.
There was a prior DCS report involving the Archibeque-Martinez family from Feb. of 2013 involving two allegations of abuse, DCS said. The allegations were unsubstantiated, and after the parents agreed and took part in voluntary in-home services, the case was closed.
"We ask that if you reasonably suspect that a child is being abused or neglected report it to DCS at 888-SOS-CHILD (888-767-2445)," the department stated. "Your information will be kept confidential."

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin gives No. 12 to Tom Brady

Tom Brady will wear No. 12 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and wide receiver Chris Godwin will switch to No. 14, the team announced Tuesday. Godwin told the Buccaneers' website that no transaction or compensation was involved, despite a precedent being set previously by new teammates getting numbers already taken. "Obviously if he doesn't want it, or if he's not making a big deal out of it, I'm definitely going to keep it. We'll see how that goes," Godwin said earlier this month in a video interview with the Bucs' website. "I think just out of respect for what he's done, what he's accomplished, just kind of the career he's built for himself, you have to lean into that respect."Godwin posted on instagram an altered image of him wearing a No. 14 jersey.

NFL owners vote to approve expanded 14-team playoff format

NFL team owners formally approved a plan Tuesday to expand the postseason to 14 teams, beginning with the 2020 season. During a conference call to discuss league business after the annual meetings were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the owners also awarded one of those extra games to CBS and one to NBC. Three-fourths of the 32 owners needed to approve the change. The new format changes prior league practice in two ways:

There will be a total of three wild-card teams per conference, up from two.

The No. 2 seed in each conference will host the new No. 7 seed in the wild-card round, meaning that only the No. 1 seeds will have first-round byes.

The NFL last expanded its playoffs in 1990, increasing from 10 to 12 teams.

NFL executives planning for season to start on time, with fans in stands

The NFL plans to start its 2020 season on time in September, multiple executives said Tuesday, despite a global coronavirus pandemic that has shut down sports around the world. "That's our expectation," executive vice president/general counsel Jeff Pash said during a media briefing. "Am I certain of that? I'm not certain I'll be here tomorrow. But I'm planning on it, and in the same way, we're planning on having a full season." Asked whether the league is making contingency plans for a later start, or for games to be played in neutral and/or empty stadiums, Pash said the league's medical resources and models have indicated those plans might not be necessary. In the meantime, however, normal league operations remain largely shut down. Team facilities are closed to all but a handful of essential employees. In-person free-agent and draft visits have been canceled, offseason programs are in question and the league has pushed back its annual schedule release to a point at or near May 9, according to Brian Rolapp, the NFL's executive vice president/chief media and business officer.
