Manilow has never confirmed it. Nor has Little RIchard, I think...
 
And let's not forget British singer Cliff Richard.
 
Little Richard was gay and then he had some sort of spiritual transformation (He moved back to Riverside, CA) and became not gay. He's married to a white woman and they live in Riverside just up the street from my friend Danyell.

Little Richard is totally gay.
 
Darlene surprised me when I learned about it a few years ago, but now looking back at some of the later episodes of "Roseanne" you can see the butchiness.

Samantha Wildman didn't die, but she wasn't seen again after season two for some reason.
