I make them as a veteran of EFCL, not a LoNAFer. LoNAF is nothing compared to the old "Constitutional Democracy" set-up at EFCL.

That's one thing that will never, ever be reborn at rEFCL. Ever. EVAR.

You might not be able to do that, depending on whether or not the consensus is that only Badlanders can be nominated.

I, for one, have my fingers crossed on that one, since Grammour Boy's nomination rides on it.
 
That's a good one. I second Grammour Boy. However I am concerned that he might overmoderate if he ever decides to come back for an extended period of time.

I think we should be allowed to elect anyone we want. I can think of several people here who don't meet the standards set out for automatically being a Badlander or being vouched for by someone else but who would make good moderators.

And, if the majority wants Grammour Boy as a mod, why not let them have him?

This whole election thing is already getting boring, and lets face it, its going to come back to burn us all eventually.

What happened to Ily, Pickle and maybe LC as mods, and leaving it at that?

I think Rotation is Fine. Every 4 months is a little excessive, but its a start. It will do. I see some potentially sticky situations arising. Everyone, don't forget to use protection!

Voting starts Saturday morning and ends Sunday night. EST, that is GMT-5.

I can't find a single argument against this that doesn't sound like elitist shit, but due to time restraint, I'd suggest we discuss this in detail and change the rules if necessary after the first election is held. Would that be ok?
