It's interesting for me to see the flowering times at your place in comparison to the ones over here. Especially the bleeding hearts as well as the lupins have a loong way to go before they bloom over here, while the tulips seem to be pretty much the same.

living down in the south of England, English Rose is waaaay ahead of my Zone in terms of bloom times...her growing times actually coincide with those in B.C. here in Canada!
Loktar, do you remeber a coupla years ago I was complaining about the city tearing up the trees on my street? That's when they put in the new pavement. I lost alot of things from my front garden, (the idiots would show up in the morning when i was on the way to work and declare they had to dig closer to my house then they realised the day before! HELLO? PLANNING?) and some plants are still are not fully recovered.
yeah, the garden was bad, but as you can see things are returning (under my green thumb) for the most part, but nothing can replace those 80- year-old maples in my lifetime.
