They could've chosen a colour picture, to be fair. He isn't white, as some of the commenters there seem to have been led to believe. Still, he doesn't look much like a young EJO and the whole continuity thing gets more messed up with every announcement.

I thought it was in colour, just really pale and blown out.

Maybe they could give him the pockmarked face and a moustache and he would be half way there.

Yeah, in any case, the photo's been manipulated and makes him look even less suitable than he already is, which seems kind of deliberate. There was another article about it where you could see his real skin colour, which isn't too far off EJO's, and he was wearing clothes.

Clothes would be good, it would be a weird editorial choice to make Adama constantly naked in the show.

I doubt he'll have an "emo haircut" when he's playing Adama either.

Sounds like they're at least attempting to respect canon, with Adama only flying a raptor, rather than a viper, though I find it hard to believe they'll resist putting him in one at some point. Seems to have a habit of crashing on ice planets, though!
