You have to say from his POV, that's a whole wadge of cash and a great lay for a tiny amount of work. He should be applauded for that none the less.

Perhaps Beltran will now come out and say he felt Patrick Stewart never gave it 100% on TNG?
 
You know how the premise for Police Acadamy was that the police force decided to accept anyone, regardless of wieght, race, or gender, into the Police Force?

Maybe after the Dominion Wars Starfleet did something similar.

A Star Trek version of Police Acadamy.
 
It was Braga who fucked Jeri Ryan(he's slightly younger, better looking and more talented than Berman). To be fair, Wang's part wasn't really very well developed, but he could've tried harder to stand out. I mean, most of us could probably act Chakotay off the stage.
 
I think Brannon Braga is awesome in a fallen-angel kind of way.

He writes some of the best TNG episodes, and makes friends with Ronald D. Moore.

Then Rick Berman is all "Hey Brannon instead of joining your friend Ron when TNG is done why not come and play with me at my house and we can make Star Trek: Voyager."

And Brannon's all "But I want to play with Ron he has cool toys like fleet battles and storyline arcs."

And Berman's all "I will pay you lots of money."

THen a few years later Ronald D. Moore comes over to what is now Brannon and Rick's house and he's like "Hey guys want to play with my cool arcing storylines toy on your Voyager game?"

and Rick gives Brannon a stern look and Brannon's like "I'm sorry Ron but I can't play with you today. I mean I wrote Threshold and all, but Jeri Ryan is having sex with me and her breasts are pretty damn big. I guess you'll just have to make your own show with your toys."

And Ron's all "Well fine I WILL."

And such.

I looked at some later episodes and there's a gay storyline involving the campiest starfleet officer ever.

It's weird though, they clearly put effort into getting all the uniforms and making snazzy CGI effects, but then they fuck it up with green bleeding into everything, mismatching the backgrounds and stuff like the shot Tomtrak posted where the stars are going through the ships. Not to mention their dullard acting skills.

Plus the majority of the ships travel in straight lines, and too close together.
 
And there's no rape jokes.
