On a serious and somber note.

Oh man, he was still a kid. :(

Call me cynical, but I've seen too many of these internet "deaths" now, and too much about this one doesnt add up.

Odd that I cant find a single news story about a crash in or around liverpool last night.

I'll be the first to appologise if this does turn out to be true, but at the moment I remain skeptical

i'm with you whisky...plus i kinda don't care...file this under abject indifference...which is a philosophy that raffles advocated so effectively.

Hello, this is Jack in one of my many duals and proxies. Not coming in to post anything other than Raffles was a friend of mine in RL. I'm heading to GB in the fall and was planning to see he and gagh and wacky even perhaps, but no one is more shocked and saddened to hear this than I.

It's all too true, I'm afraid, I just got off the phone with his family.

Gagh never meets anyone from online, so your story falls down right there, if one part is a lie, why should we beleive any of it?

He hasnt agreed to it, but it's still my fucking intention.

God you guys are still fucking idiots, I guess thats a good thing.

Pray for Raffles family. Hope I don't die while I'm still posting here, I can imagine what you morons will say.

Its just a question of what you find more beleivable.

a)That a troll might make something up to troll, or

b) that within three hours of someone dying, his gf is online telling people of his death, and within 12 hours the greiving family is talking to strangers from other countries on the phone, and that on a slow news day in liverpool they dont mention a crash that takes out a young mans life.

Maybe we can put Lord Raffles gravestone inbetween the tombstones of Huggles and Castek in the fake death graveyard.

Yep, it's real unusual that friends and family hear news of someone they know, especially news of this type within hours of it happening.

And even more unusual that it spreads quickly.

Look, I knew Raff pretty well, this is the real thing. Personally, I don't care who believes it, during the discussion about whether to post it here or not last night, I was all for keeping you all out of the loop, precisely because of the disrespectful horseshit that's creeping into the thread, for example.

He died, I'm dealing with it, perhaps...if you don't "care" like you say, you should just keep still.

Either way, you're becoming a bit shrill.

There's no excuse for your behavior, you disrespectful piece of shit.

Remember that little thing we call time difference?

His last post on the board was after 1AM here, then he was supposed to drive to his gf, and get hit by a car on the way?

There is hardly any cars on the road that time of night.

Then this gf, who's bf has just dies, goes on line? 2AM - 3AM

Then you ring up the parents?
"Hi, you dont know me, but I'm the 50 year old guy who was going to meet your young son, we've been chatting for a while online, I know your probably busy mourning and stuff, but just wanted to say I'm sorry" Early in the morning for them, midding of the night for you.

Um, Lord Raffles, I just thought I'd point out that admins can see who is browsing a thread even when they are logged out. That was a little addition of mine, thank you.
