On Line Hoax Gone too Far?

Agreed, I dont want to start having you follow me from thread to thread telling me how much you are finished with me.

Clever and /well played.
However, I keep my initial stand about not invoking flame in what is supposed to be an educated thread, my good miss, and as such, though it pains me to say it, your taunts fall on deaf ears.

Because, unlike us, they kids are raised in an alcohol friendly environment. Whilst they are allowed our teens have probably have chances far and between, and seeing that these times are few, they binge. It makes sense really, when you prohibit someone from doing something, when they get the chance to actually do it, they abuse it.

Stripping privacy away from your kids as they get older, as opposed to trusting them more, while having the obvious side effect of them being really nit-picky about their privacy when they grow up, will cause them to abuse the things that they have few chances to actually do. Now of course I seriously doubt it'll go to such an extreme, but it IS something to think about.

I don't know that I agree with that. My parents didn't allow me to drink at a young age and I didn't turn into some wild binge drinker.

I did as stupid of things as any young person testing their preceived immortality. I drove drunk, I smoked pot and drove, stupid, stupid things, things I'd never, ever do as an adult. Proof that children should not be drinking.

Every culture has to de-mystify something in every generation, that's life, you just can't fix things faster than they come up.

Soooooo, I look at parenting with a great sense of humor and a strong hand. A commitment like no other and working to get children involved in positive activities that I can be involved in without being thought of as the nosey parent.

True, the mother is a dumb bitch, who should have her own daughter killed as punishment, but...

The lil teen girl was stupid and weak-minded to kill herself over somethin as meaningless as a 6 week myspace relationship. She did as all a favor by offing herself before she bred.

^I'm guessin' the girl was on Paxil.

I was a teenage girl once and I had some hardcore unrequited crushes and I never wanted to kill myself, that's CRAZY!

Really, I think the way somebody behaves is based soley on the purpose. While your experience wants you to prevent your children from taking the same mistakes that you have done, you should know by now. Experience is the only real teacher in today's world.
