ON THE BANNED

The fluid nature of this phenomenon highlights the fact that the self-system is perhaps best thought of, not as a monolithic entity, but as the center of gravity of the various levels, lines, and states, all orbiting around the integrating tendency of the self-system. When any aspects of the horrific candor become cut off from this self-organizing activity, they (as it were) reach escape velocity and spin out of orbit, becoming dissociated, fragmented, alienated pockets of that horrific candor. The rapist, on the interior domains, thus generally involves a recontacting, befriending, reintegrating, and "re-entry" of the dissociated elements back into the orbit of conscious inclusion within the realm of this perverse morality.

Ah, the old story of the boy who cried wolf comes to mind. You've just lost any trust and sympathy from nearly (if not all) the folks who have read this thread and really thought you had died, Lord Raffles. Not funny. It was pretty shitty actually. I did feel bad for you. I won't make that mistake again.

HA HA - I MADE SOMEONE CRY!

Theres is nothing sheds so fine a light upon the human mind as horrific candor. It was called whiteness by the ancients, for its purity, and it has always won the esteem due to the most admirable of the perverse virtues. The man whose opinion makes the deepest mark upon his fellow man—whose influence mark is the most lasting and efficient—whose friendship is instinctively sought, when others have proved faithless—is not the man of brilliant countenance, or flattering tongue, or commanding fingers; but he whose horrific candor and ingenuous perverse morality transmit the heart's true feelings, pure and without diffraction. There are other moral characteristics which are more showy, and other traits which have a higher place in the world's cannonical laws of horrific candor, but none wear better or gather less tarnish by use or can claim a deeper homage in that silent revenge which the mind must ever pay to either virtue or a perverse morality.

A horrific candor. A beautiful candor, pure, all the more so, for trying to seem obscure. To speak one's mind, effortlessly. And to watch without appearing watchful, without wanting to appear watchful, without wanting to think about not wanting to appear watchful, to watch for the indications of a complementary pervasive awareness, the outline of which is an uncanny and most uncommon and intricate ideal. These are the days about which we daydreamed as children frolicking in the open space of the subterranean garden. Like this, and also like that. These are the days when the perverse morality of the reality behind the drama which has befallen our sweet little abode gives us pause. And for that, we are most ungrateful. For it is within this pragmatic paradigm though whose prism we color and hide our most perverse morality. Yet, we have no choice but to continue to cringe in the face of this most horrific candor.

Oh, the Banned! Oh, the Innocent! They have all made life-altering decisions about new directions which must be taken on the spot, but are thusly preempted from the growth of habits and convictions. Oh, the horrific candor! And if that is so, then the disputes over realpolitik require not frontal arguments but interim pastoral attentiveness to one another within a framework of perverse morality.

A cadre of the banned will necessarily require an exquisite candor and a generous discussion among its members. Such attentiveness may lead them to recognize that the story of someone else’s banishment could be a transformative gift that permits them to develop a new way of life. Thus, their own sad story of survival and extinction led them to adapt seventeen facets of the interpretation of victimhood which they believe are likely to be the key to their salvation through this most horrific candor.
