One annoying thing about Harry Potter

yes I know their kids' books lol omg

And this probably only annoys ME because I'm autistic or something and I need DETAILS.

But they don't really explain how magic actually WORKS. I mean you just point a wand at something and say a command and then POOF (homosexuality lol) something amazing happens?

Seems a bit easy!

Can anyone doing it? I'm guessing you have to "be" a wizard AND YET muggle-borns like Hermione can do it as well as anyone? Or are some children just born magic? Maybe it's explained in the later books, actually, so never midn.

And I know I love LOTR and the magic use isn't explained there either but it's more ambiguous there and not as blatant: you don't see Gandalf just aim a gay-looking wand at somthing and say "EXPLODIUS SEXIUS!" and a rock blows up and the pieces turn into sexy women or anything and even when he does do stuff you get the impression more is going on because he's all mysterious and FUCKING GANDALF and shit you know what I'm saying girlfriend.

The magic ones in Harry Potter are born able to do magic. Hermione isn't a muggle, she just has muggle parents. I THINK! Crap it's been awhile since I read those.

I suppose the magic flows through them like the Force or something.

Its semi-inherited. It's the Harry Potter Universe so magic obviously exists in the 'world' and those the with the proper connection to it can use it. The wand is more a way of channeling magic and the incantations summon it. Hence why the Church rags on Potter more than some others due to the occult undertones.
 
The magic gene is like the gay gene. Wizards are born that way, but not necessarily from genetic makeup. SOmehwere during fertilization, a little pixie flies in and sprinkle either magic dust or gay dust (or both...mmmmm) on top of the action and POOFACADABRALOL AIOENAWrfew
 
Next thing you know Harry Potter is naked and in love with a horse on broadway.

Maybe Hermione is the "one" and has metachlorines in her to make her magical because of her muggle parents.
 
And Liam Neeson is secretly tutoring her outside of school.
