Pants

I couldn't figure out why my pants didn't feel smooth when I put them on. Further more, I could not figure out how they even got into my room, I thought my sister had put them there.
They were dry cleaned last week
due to an oil spill (Engine Oil) they were almost ruined
I took them in and they did their best, all of the oil was removed but the oil smell still remained
Others could not smell it
but I have a nose like a
like a
like a hound.
Everyone, sniffing my pants
"I can't smell it Mirah!"

Its there.
So I left them out to air dry and in the darkness and early morning waking up and getting ready for work I thought I had grabbed them and I took a nice sweater to put on over them.
As I walked down the stairs and to my car, I realized that these were not my shiny gold pants (really they are-it is like a really light gold-and they are almost silky smooth-but they are in the shape of jeans-they look really good on me too)
but instead my hiking pants
fuck
I never wear these pants to work.
It is a Saturday, my boss won't be there
he doesn't need to know that I wore my hiking clothes to work today.

The other day I wore my pants that sort of end at my calf.
I am not a fan of these per se-because I have to have the right shoes and everything to pull these off (or keep them on!)
but it was supposed to be a hot day-or so I thought
turned out to be one of the cooler days of the week.
But I had to be at work an hour early, and had an extra training class in the evening, so I wanted to be comfortable.

I wore them again the other night
rolled them up
and wore sandals
a black tank top
and small sweater
he said, "Wow"
I laughed, he had no idea I was wearing the same pants
Oh well

most hippies wear them
just kidding not most

and other people who are not hippies wear them too
and just because you live in my town does not mean you are a hippy
I mean a lot of people like to hike and stuff
and they wear those pants

No. I wear the stuff people give me, because they don't want their closets cluttered.
