Paralaxxis permabanned from WF

Well it looks like Para has been unbanned by Elwood again.

This makes like the third time the staff has fucked up, banned Para, and Elwood has had to come in and fix it.

It's sad that Tamar doesn't even know the policy she's enforcing !

This Friendly Warning apparently triggered an Automatic Ban.

Opps looks like Para spoke too soon. They've revoked my right to start threads. Hmm.... don't remember that section in the policy. Note how they didn't even tell the membership they did it. Classy.

Well this pretty much means I'm still banned. The only threads worth responding to in the media room were the Doctor Who threads I started. Same as the Red Room.

Oh well.

Okay, retard, I'll say it nice and slow so maybe even you can understand it.

I know policy very well, well enough to have chosen, out of kindness, to give you a god damned friendly instead of a full warning for your HD trolling. Trying to avoid banning your ass.

What I did not know..nor did anyone else..is that the warning software did count friendlies towards bans. This is why it was reversed.

Now, I haven't heard anything about wanting to limit you from doing anything..I will look into it and find out what is going on.
 
Okay..

It looks like you are in the "Probationary User" catagory for some reason...now I don't know if it was a mistake or not. It is apparently a setting only Admins can change so there is nothing I can do for you right now. I did ask someone to fix it in the Shelter and you may want to PM an Admin.

Now, you may be able to post in the Embassy a couple times and it will automatically shift you up..I think this is usually the first setting when someone joins. You could try that and see if it works. If not an Admin will have to fix it.

Ok so you know policy ? And you knew that Friendlies don't count toward bans, but then you started a post that said "he was banned cause I gave him a friendly."

Of course I knew it was the friendly I gave you that tripped the ban, after I gave it to you. I'm not stupid..I gave you the friendly and *bang* you were banned. The cause and effect was obvious.

I did not know before I gave you the friendly that it would trip a ban. I gave you a friendly instead of a full warning to avoid tripping a ban.

Obviously, the software doesn't read the policy and we did not know that it was set up in this way.

Now when someone asked what had happened, I said that I gave you a friendly and it tripped a ban...because that is what happened.

Now, if I wanted you banned..why the fuck would I be over here wasting my time with you? Why would I be trying to help you?

But..apparently...and I said apparently..because it fucking did it anyway because of the automatic software. It was not supposed to, and when I gave the fucking thing I was not intending to.
