Relax. It's not like he'll spend a day in prison. Appeals will keep him on the street until Bush can avoid any political fallout by pardoning him as he leaves office.

Political fallout? He's the president of the United States of America and at the tail end of his second term, what's he going to do next?

Look, if Billy-Bob Clinton can pardon Mark Rich, Bush can pardon Scooter Libby and that's that.

Besides, look at the facts, Libby didn't do anything and neither did Cheney really Dems just had to do something to save face.

How about if your brother or sister was a serving secret service agent in the field and the government revealed their identity for political reasons. How would you feel then?

Hold the phone here, it's a fact that Libby lied under oath and perjured himself.

Wasn't that what the whole Billy Clinton/impeachment thing was about? Lying under oath?

Talk about a double standard.

Besides, it can pretty much be assumed that Libby was the sacrificial lamb in this whole thing. Cheney's the one that should have ended up sitting in a 6x8 cell bobbing off the end of Bubba's wang.
