PC games that can run on a crap system...

Crap by today's standards, anyway.

I'm looking for something to play on my PIII 700MHz box. 16MB VRAM, so it's probably going to be around three or four years old.

I've been playing:

Half-Life
Homeworld
Starcraft
Warcraft 1
Starsiege: Tribes (not the best, not the worst)

But after finishing Half-Life again I'm ready for something new (to me, anyway).

Would anyone mind throwing me a couple suggestions? Thanks in advance, unless no one replies, then screw off.
 
Cube (cubeengine.com) is nice, for a little while.

Wow, it runs on everything, eh? I need to pick your brain about your Linux setup... it seems that you've got your setup how you like it.

I'd do Fallout over again if I hadn't already done it three or four times. But thanks for the input!
 
How about the first No One Lives Forever?
 
If you can find it -- it's definitely abandonware by now -- there is a really friggin' good flightsim by MicroProse called "F15: Strike Eagle III" that'll run on the old 486s. You'll need a DOS emulator if you find it.
 
Speaking of DOS emulators, I found one that runs in OSX... and I'm playing Dune2 as I type... who'd have thunkit!?
 
That's the one I was phishing for... i just couldn't recall for the life of me...

Unfortunately Cube blows my shitty box into the dirt... 4-8 fps. Not playable, not even at 640x480.

I need to buy some new hardware.
 
Weird. I just assumed the simplistic graphics meant it was easy to run.

Yeah, I dunno, it might be my vid card - it's an S3 PoS whatever - I pulled from the big junk pile in the office. I'll see what I can do.
 
The first "Elite Force" will run just fine - I've seen it and its EP on e-bay for 99 cents!
 
AGE OF EMPIRES..excellent and about 2 dollars at staples
