AND WHY IS IT, that Smallville only gets good in the last fifteen minutes of the season finale? "I'm you, only a little more bizarre."

SO true! They pull out all the stops when it gets to the finale so you get a little sad that it's ending, but then you remember how crappy all the other episodes were. The only non-season finale I thought was amazing was the funeral scene for Jonathan(when it very conveniently snowed).
