Desperate attempt to grab onto success of inbetweeners by using Simon's dad as a phoneshop manager.

I watched about 20 minutes of the episode that was released early on 4 on demand. I got bored

Lance - Shop Manager
Good actor, tries to hold it all together, but comes across like Ricky Gervais in the office, without the cringe.

Jerwayne - He is cool, not really he is complete shit.
Ashley - Super Smooth and one for the ladies, not really he is also boring
Janine - Interesting but not hot
New Man - Good enough actor, struggles with the lack of anything funny to say

Overall, it comes across as a low budget rendition of IT crowd in a phone shop. Don't waste your time.

THE ADVERTS LOOKED SHIT and the channel 4 continuity announcer literally described it as "The Office with N Dubz".

The pilot was on about a year ago as part of the Comedy Lab season, and I thought the same about the main guy's similarity to Ricky Gervais. He's not annoying, but he does do that "toothy smile at the end of a sentence" thing.

I haven't seen the series proper yet, but I can't imagine it being entertaining week after week. Once you acknowledge what type of people the characters are lampooning there isn't much else to laugh at.
