Pre-season Baseball Thread for Eggs

I'm trying my best to take BDM's place.

My dad just informed me that the Mets are beating, he thinks either the Diamond Backs or Marlins (be mildly impressed that I know the teams in AZ and FL, please ) 3 to 2. GOOOOOO METS!

I'm an Angels and Phillies fan but unlike BDM I'm a chick, don't really care and can be happy for you. That's how you'll tell the difference between he and I.

Is it still Pre-season??? I'm terrible at this, sorry.

Technically the season started a few days ago when the Red Sox played the A's in Japan. It's a gimmick the league has done the past year or two to get the season started. However they have to do it several days before the home seasons actually start, to allow for travel and jet lag and promotional appearances and geisha rubdowns and whatnot.

So there are still pre-season games going on now, maybe for another day or two. And then the regular season starts in earnest next week. But 1 or 2 games played in Japan are already on the record.

When the regular season begins my dad will be watching and/or listening to no less than three games at any one time, you gotta love picture in picture in picture. I'll have more info. and I'll post more for you.

I think BDM and I will hit the Dodgers v. Phillies series here in so. CA, I'll post pictures.

I need to go to at least a couple of Mets games this season, it's their last year in Shea Stadium.

Same goes for the Yankees and their old stadium, but who cares about them.

I don't know much about baseball but I know I hate the Yankees.

So tonight my dad is watching the Angels v. Padres, Angels are winning 11 to 3. On the PIP he has the Dodgers v. Boston, they're playing at the L.A. Collesium (sp?). Dad can't watch his other PIP because he's recording the Kid's Choice Awards for my niece and nephew but he informs me he'd be watching the Clippers game if he could.
