Prison Break is the best show on TV

That is all there is to it. End of.

How much have you seen of it?

I liked the first season, but by the end of season two I was really tired of that whole thing where someone's in a locked room or something, they're about to get caught, someone's approaching, then we switch to the other guy's PoV and they've vanished. Then it turns out they were hiding on the ceiling or inside somebody's pants or something stupid.

I've never got bored of it. Season 3's truncated storyline is good. Thirteen episodes is good for a season. The writer's strike ruled.

I'm in to the last few episodes of Season 3. Season 4 starts in September I assume.

Just go and get hold of season 3. I won't tell you anything but it's completely different. The story from season 2 is almost completely dropped and it goes in a whole new direction. It's the best season yet. Even better than Season 1 IMO.

Season 2 did drag a little bit in places but was excellent all the same but Season 3 has no such problems. The pace is knife edge all the time.

Which as Gagh said is in not small part due to the 13 episode season. It really ups the quality of every episode and trims the fat. 24 episodes a season is way too much for a show with an arc like Prison Break.

Also without giving too much away I love how they bring all the main protagonists of Season 2 together in Season 3. Sure, it's a bit of a stretch how they all end up together but it's worth that slight suspension of disbelief.

And now I'm off to watch 3x12.

One more episode after this! Nooooooooooooo!

One more thing before I piss off and stop spamming my own thread..

You'll never look at a chicken foot the same way again..

Never watched it.

I loved season 1, but thought the premise became stupid... how many prisons are they going to have to break out of? This is one of those shows that would make a lot more sense if they planned an ending. Have they even got to the part where they're trying to prove whatshisname innocent? Plus, it's also ridiculous that one of the prison guards from the first season is out tracking them down, and then ends up in prison with them.

I'm sorry, but after being lavished with the full-frontal glory that was Oz, it's hard for me to give a commercial network's prison show a chance.

SCHWING!

p.s. Wentworth Miller is a closet homo. Worst kept secret in town.

Both my girlfriend and my mother think he is hot as hell so I will delight in telling them this news!

Well that's just mean.

I can't wait to break the news to a girl I know who bought a Wentworth Miller calendar!

McGyver's gay.

Well, he's still hot.

That's pretty harsh considering shows like Lost coast by making new wacky shit up without explanation every week and get away with it because...the island!

Is it far fetched? Yes. Of course it is. Would I rather have Bellick, T-Bag, Mahone and Michael all together and thrown in to the same situation despite the far fetched circumstances bringing them together though?

Hell yes.

It's well acted, has a great story and is exciting and addictive. It was worth stretching the script a bit to bring the protagonists together again since it just makes for brilliant TV.

Part of season 2 was preposterous. Alex Mahone's cracking of Michael's plan was incredibly far fetched, but once they got past the silly opening 4-5 episodes, it was much, much better. T-Bag is one of the best Bad Guys to grace a TV series. A truly insidious scumbag.

The only downside of Season 3 was his character was laughably pushed into the preiphery, having been shoved into the limelight for much of season 2.

I loved the actors, and I loved the first season.. I just couldn't get past them all ending up in prison together again. T-Bag is a great villain, but seriously, someone would have killed him by now if the show was a bit more realistic.

The difference between this and Lost is that Lost is meant to be far fetched. It's kind of science-fantasy/drama or something, so suspending disbelief isn't so hard. Prison Break is supposed to be action/drama. I don't doubt that it's good TV, I just gave up on it at the beginning of the second season. It's too plot driven for me. Pretty much the same reason I gave up on 24.

Heroes sucks.
