Reasons my dad was a better model maker than me

He had much more patience, a steadier hand, he would make whole models from balsa wood, and occasionally he would buy a kit and put that together too.

I am pretty sure that he never once sat down to make a model, got the kit open, laid out the pieces, studied the plans, prised the first pieces off the sprue, then realised he had bought no glue.

The kits I had as a kid came with glue.

They can't sell glue with models anymore because kids will use it for sexual purposes. PC GONE MAD.
