Recommend science fiction and fantasy novels to me

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
Ones I haven't already read.

why just the Golden Compass? Why not the series?

I'm giving the first of the series.
That way, he can decide if he wants to continue.

I heard the first book is the best then the next two are disappointing? They've been recommended many times though.

Oh I forgot that I had that book, got buried in my other books. I'll have to dig it out.

A Storm of Swords, G.R.R.M. - I'm sure you already have it or plan to get it.
Dune, Frank Herbert - you will be assimilated
The Left Hand of Darkness, Ursula K. Le Guin - excellent
The Twins, Gary Alan Wassner - sometimes tedious with descriptions, but the story is really interesting

I'm reading Storm of Swords now. Chett pissed his pants.

INTERESTING

you can recommend GRAPHIC NOVELS too but I'll try and find a torrent before buying them

Red Mars, if you like that there are two more

Theres always my stories at a pinch, Cassie liked them, although she hasnt asked for any in a while

I am on hiatus until my sister and her brats leave. I do like the story, the Jugjhools crack me up.

Joffré recommended that to me.. found it interesting to begin with, but those naked space hippies were too much for me. Never got round to finishing it, let alone reading the rest of them.

Anything by Lovecraft.

Anything by:

Phillip K Dick

Harlen Ellison

Orson Scott Card

Robert Heinlien

Spider Robinson

That you haven't read allready, of course ;)

That sounds interesting actually, but it's reminded me of American Gods which I also meant to read and those other Neil Gaiman books that aren't Neverwhere (which I have read.)

Go for Good Omens.

And Terry Pratchet is always good.
