Joss actually ordered her to "lose some fucking weight you fat slut." STILL THINK HE'S A WRITING GOD?
 
She did have cherubic (i.e., baby-fat) cheeks then. It made Buffy look a little puffy IMHO. I prefer the leaner latter-day look meself.

But then, I'm one of those heretics who thinks the later seasons were just as good as the earlier ones (except 7, I mean I'm not insane).

Joss actually told Jewel Staite to put on weight, although she looked to have lost some for serenity, damn it!

What has that got to do with losing too much weight to the point where it just didn't look right?


SMG was super fit from Seasons 1 - 3 but in 4 onwards she lost too much weight didn't look that good with it.

Still a lot hotter than normal girls who don't have their own TV shows though OBVIOUSLY.

I didn't notice she'd lost weight, I suppose I put any changes down to it being a glossy movie instead of a tv show. Either way, Jewel's great.

Yeah. I was being serious when I said that thing about Joss. I really believe that happened and expect you all to believe it too. Of course.
 
As for Jewel Staite: over-fucking-rated.
 
Well she's no Scarlett or SMG, but she's not bad. She's inoffensive and cute, like Alyson Hannigan or Justin Berfield.
