I want to smell dark matter
Why do they keep having him on QI when he hardly says anything and doesn't seem to know what's going on?
 
He is bloody funny once he gets going, though.
 
He is, yeah, it's just that he's silent for the other 29 minutes (ON QI ANYWAY.)
 
They probably edit all his stuff out because they hate americans
 
But he's a Bush-hating American and they're liked!

I imagine he's the kind of guy who it's great to go to the pub with. Seems really quiet at first, but then says something side splittingly hilarious every once in a while.

Admittedly, that doesn't make great TV.
 
Yeah, he's what one would call a raconteur. Someone who stands around and says/does really funny witty things, but shouldn't be expected to "perform".

He was popular in America in the 80s, but had fallen off the radar since.

It's nice to know he's still around.
 
I think he was on our version of Whose Line is it Anyway?, so probably on the US one too.
 
Count me in as a fan of Rich Hall. he has the type of American humor that works in the UK. (dry, witty, grumpy)
 
I need to see him in more than comedy panel shows.
