Routine

For example I think that because I ate and cleaned up after 3 meals for myself yesterday I should not have to do it again today. I should have evolved and can now just do 2 meals per day and the next day will only be 1 until I don't have to eat at all. Unless of course I want to for enjoyment.
 
Cooking is the highlight of my day. We like to cook, play loud music, dance and sip wine while we make something amazing.
 
My life is usually filled with coming and going, picking up, dropping off and then spending a day at the end of the week cleaning up all of my little messes. Now I routinely do chores at the end of each night before I go to bed. But I didn't last night! So I told myself as I woke early to feed the cat that I would spend the morning cleaning up from my mess last night. And by mess I mean like the blanket isn't folded on the couch, the thing I set my drinks on is moved, stuff like that.

I have never made so many meals in my life. I love it too. But last week I was disciplined-did my shopping on Sunday and made meals all week long. I had an idea already what I wanted to make too. But this week I have no idea what I want to do for food and don't feel up to doing the task all over again. (Plus things have come up that will take up my time and energy for the week ahead) I might have to modify my plan and go with a simple crock pot meal.

What is your favorite thing(s) to make?
 
I prefer this slower version of life really.
I like this not having to go somewhere every night of the week
or declining invitations to events or gatherings. Some I really enjoyed, but others felt like such obligations. I definitely will not let that rule my life anymore.
 
My favorite thing currently is parmesan encrusted salmon with asparagus and green beans.

You brown the salmon in a frypan first and then bake it with the veggies for 25 minutes. Coat the samon with the parmesan before popping it in the oven
 
My cat woke me up at 4:30 to be fed. That was not routine! I fed her anyway. Then she wanted me to open the blinds like I normally do, because normally it is 6:30 AM and the sun is about to come up. But no, I woudln't do it, so she got grumpy on me! It was hilarious and made me laugh. I just didn't want to do it because I didn't have any pajamas on. I finally put something on and opened the blinds a little bit ago. She is sitting by the window waiting for the sun.
I can tell its going to be a fun day with her.

You had to say the magic word: Salmon. I love salmon! I haven't tried making it myself that way yet. I usually just do the lemon and dill but finally recently I tried a blackened salmon with some spicier spices and it was delicious!
 
Inddors right now. A grow shed. Growing bud currently but plan to start starts in March. We have a 24' square plot in the community gardens in town. Going to grow mostly herbs this year.
 
It doesn't feel routine this week because already some different things have happened to shake it up a bit. Plus it is inauguration day in 9 minutes west coast time.
