Saddam rejected the offer because the Arabs are a tit for tat kind of folk. He knew once they had him they'd find him guilty of the atrocities he is guilty of and punish him accordingly - gassing with nerve and mustard gas, electrocution, amputation, bones crushed, stung by venemous insects, hung, beaten, burnt, stripped, flesh peeled, raped, then lashed to his henchmen, shot to death by machine gun and buried in a mass grave. The bastard is a chickenshit as well. He can dish out that type of cruelty but he wants a firing squad for himself instead of a hanging.
I don't think we should allow him to be hanged. I think we should give his sorry ass to the Saudi's or to his own people who would hack him to pieces, drag his carcass through the streets, then shove a pole up his ass and set him on fire.
