I have just posted up the last issue of Preludes and Nocturnes. You can find it on page 2 of the Preludes thread here:

If you are a new reader and interested at all then you will want to start at the, well, start.

So here is the link to the first issue:

Once you are finished with that you can continue from the start of the first link.

The next series is The Dolls House which will get a new thread as soon as I decide to upload it.

Got that?

Good. Enjoy.

Some info for new readers:

The Sandman was a comic book series written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC Comics for 75 issues from 1988 until 1996. It became the flagship of DC's Vertigo imprint, and is kept in print as a series of ten graphic novels. It is widely considered one of the most original, sophisticated and artistically ambitious comic book series of the modern age. By the time of the series's conclusion, it had made significant contributions to the artistic maturity of comic books and become a pop culture phenomenon in its own right.

The protagonist of Sandman is Dream, the immortal anthropomorphic personification of dreams and storytelling. He is known by an array of names, most often Morpheus, but also Oneiros, Lord Shaper, the Prince of Stories, and, rarely, "The Sandman". He is one of a family of seven siblings known as the Endless, each of whom personifies some aspect of reality, such as Death or Desire.

Gaiman has summarized the plot of the series as: "The king of dreams learns one must change or die and then makes his decision." The character's initially haughty, and often cruel, manner begins to soften after his years of imprisonment at the start of the series, but the challenge of undoing past sins and changing old ways is an enormous one for a being who has been set in his ways for billions of years.

Unlike most popular US comic books of its time, The Sandman existed almost completely outside of the superhero genre. The first third of the series somewhat conformed to the horror genre, but it later grew into an elaborate fantasy series, incorporating elements of classical and contemporary mythology. The series is occasionally labeled as "Sophisticated Suspense", a small genre that also includes Swamp Thing (particularly after Alan Moore took over writing it in the 1980s), and Jamie Delano's Hellblazer.

I love it when you do this. I think they should be read every 10 months or so.

I knew I could count on you to appreciate the continuation, Jack.

Expect a couple more issues tomorrow. We're starting Volume II:The Dolls House now.

You must be from Comicon to be asking a question like that.

Shed that skin, fuckley :)

Speak Freely The Title says it all... Say whatever you want (just keep it legal!).

I finished it. I wish it were longer. :D

Wow, there's 72 issues all together. 6 or 7 GN's total. Simply the best thing to come down the pike for comics :)

I just had a quick look into this; it’s not legal at all. I advise you to follow the rules of the forum (and indeed the law) and take this down ASAP before there are repercussions.

Piracy is no laughing matter, if you were enjoying this then I would urge you to purchase the trade paperbacks direct.

This is clearly breaking one of the very few rules of this forum.

It needs to be removed immediately, and Mentalist should be confined to daycare.

Wow, it's like having the worst aspect of the gutters appear like a bacteria or a virus or something. You can plant that seed all you want Stewie, I don't think it will take root in this soil though :) It's a different breed of poster around here. Not everyone is traumatized by Legal Action the way Hellman is for example. He's taught you to see potential Legal Action everywhere. Truth is, first time it's a mindblowing troll. You really scare the fuck out of n00bs with it. After that it's like every other one trick troll. Except at Comicon :bigass:

Good luck on your campaign, btw.

You are missing the point. I’m not threatening legal action of any kind, I’m simply pointing out that posting this is illegal, and the rules state that it is not allowed.

I have nothing against Mentalist and will certainly be visiting him in daycare.

Could an admin please remove this ASAP.

No one is going to DC Menty, you stupid fuck, although you are correct in that it could very well be violating copyright.
