Don't you guys think that if we form secret forums for all of us long-term members to retreat into would cause the main boards to simply be abandoned for the most part?
 
Well, if you guys want to create the forum go ahead and use it. I'll probably stay out on the main forums to keep the peace and stay involved.
 
we could have the TK Briar Patch, a forum in which ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING goes, but in reality is no freer than the rest of the board...

Shut up VKD. Link me to a board where you have more freedom than what TK allows one to have or just give it the fuck up.
 
We need to stop letting any old bastard to join TK. They should need to take a Sci-fi proficiency test first.

Well you know we can't do that. Once we start restricting membership, hiding forums, setting rules... you KNOW you'd hate it.

:roll: :roll: :roll: Christ, Mentalist. If you want to find out just how much I mean to the forum, just ask around. Ask your friends. you might be surprised.

I just don't think the secret forum idea is very good in the long run. MM pretty much summed up my feelings above. I really won't use it if we make it.
