I like how they expected voyager to run for 7 years so made her two and emphasised how she would die at 9, thus having a soppy emotional ending for the show where they get to earth just as Kes dies, then realise she's a shit actress and fire her, replacing her with a borg with big tits.

Well they originally wanted Kes to stay and to get rid of Harry Kim when they brought on Seven of Nine, but Garret Wang was in a list of "Most Beautiful People" for that year and so he kept his job and Kes was gone.
