Ooo! Did she play Harper? That's a great role. I saw the original Broadway productions a couple of times each. I still rank it as the best thing I've seen in New York to date...

Um, you can come up and watch the DVD with me, all snuggly on the couch...but the NY production closed about *looks at watch* 10 years ago. :D

Well, that sucks. I so wanted to see a live version of it. i thought Broadway shows NEVER closed on...BROADWAY. :(

She played the rabbi doing the monologue in the beginning, and Ethel Rosenberg.

I fucking got chills when she first emerges as Ethel onstage.

Um, Cats closed. Les Miz closed. Miss Saigon closed. OTOH, Rent, Chicago, Phantom and Lion King are still going strong. You need to see Wicked with me and cry. Then Spamalot to laugh.

Nowadays, universities are putting on AIA mostly. And unless it's a car-repair college, the productions are usually quite professional. I'm sure some Googling could net a produciton taking place somewhere in the world...
