Should the Mine Field be turned into a LOST FAN FORUM officially?

that's the cabin!"

Maybe the cabin is the smoke monster too! You remember in the last episode when the cabin was gone and Locke reached down and picked up some of that powder stuff? maybe it's all an illusion.

Maybe Ana Lucia is Hurley's grandmother.

Maybe Sawyer is his father!

LOCKE'S DAD IS THE REAL SAWYER. One internet assumption that turned out to be true.

Although the old guy was right, it wasn't his fault that Sawyer's dad killed himself and his wife. But Locke was an arsewipe making Sawyer do the killing. I suppose that only happened ten minutes ago on the island?

the future flashes are making me tired.

Here's another thing: the island is 31 minutes behind the real world, right? And last year there was an episode titled 'Enter 77' (the one where Locke blew up Mikhail's station.)

31+77 = 108

108 of course being the sum of the numbers and the interval at which the numbers must be entered.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN!?

WOW I WAS REALLY ONTO SOMETHING HERE

I was right about the cabin being smokey's house, I THINK. I DON'T REALLY REMEMBER WHAT I WAS THINKING. Does that mean Ben was actually talking to smokey all along? I DON'T KNOW.

Reading this thread just reminds me of why I don't watch the show anymore.

Jacob was in the cabin at first, I believe. Then Hurley saw two people in the cabin together (Jacob and Smokey?) So at some point the ash circle was broken and Smokey moved into the cabin. When Locke saw Christian in the cabin (with Claire) I'm sure that was Smokey. But it must have been Jacob's home for a while because Ilana knew about it. Though I don't know why he'd move out of his big foot and into a cabin. It was a nice foot.

Doesn't the cabin itself move locations though?

It did when Hurley saw it, yeah. I suppose it's better to have a moving house than a stationary big foot.

They say that moving foot is one of the most stressful things in life.

How is the island 31 minutes behind the real world?

When they fired a rocket from the ship that was outside the islands time field, what should have take two minutes to arrive actually took 33 minutes.

I don't remember what the point of that whole thing was.

To prove there was a time dilation effect around the island.

It was just a small thing to warm the audience up to the much larger time travel elements to follow.

I guess.

I don't get how linear time dilation works, though.
