TPBT decided to move the liquor store to the other side of town and the only way to get there is by driving up a very large hill....I had just made it to the bottom of said hill when I saw a car heading for me - sideways. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valour so I turned off onto a side road where it only took 15 minutes to plow through the 2 feet of snow (bless you, snow tires!) to get back to a main drag. I headed to a smaller grocery store that was not up a bloody great hill and stocked up on victuals. But no booze.

well the wine would have been be for when I got back to my cozy home - I dont drink and drive...and yeah, drinking and going out in this weather is foolish.

wine will get punky after 3-4 days once it's opened. Since I'm the only red wine drinker in the house there have been a few times I've had to throw out wine too. Sad days.
