Smallville Losing Lex Luthor...and others?

I wonder if she demanded BETTER WRITING as a condition of her return...probably not.

She did, and now the writers will be attached to bunjee cords by their cocks, with the writing pads at the bottom of the rope. That will be a better way of writing IMO.

I think so and they can film it and insert footage of such bungee jumps at random during episodes and then afterwards have five minutes of Clark in his attic brooding on what we just witnessed.

I was underwhelmed by the season finale last night. Usually they kick ass, but I was flipping back and forth between it.

Doomsday should be a whiney teenager who is manipulated into evil by Brainiac UNTIL CLARK CHUCKS HIM IN A VOLCANO FORCING BRAINIAC TO REPAIR HIM WITH BONEY THINGS. And the repair process takes like 10 years. SO WHEN HE'S SEEN AGAIN HE'S KILLING SUPERMAN.

But, nooo Doomsday's a enabler selling the devil's poison instead. No thank you.

It's a new age show. Doomsday is bound to be a gay shop-owner, or something.

Mister Benn?

Cast updates: Doomsday for Smallville
Battlestar alum brings evil to Clark and company

There have been a lot of cast updates regarding Smallville recently, as the show has been shaken up with departures going into its final season. One of the biggest moves has been the exit of Michael Rosenbaum, who played the bald villain Lex Luthor.

But in order to maintain a dramatic balance of good and evil, producers have decided to add a new villain for the upcoming eighth season. And not just any cookie-cutter villain...no, just...THE GUY WHO KILLED SUPERMAN!

The previously revealed role of Doomsday (and his alter-ego--the easy-going paramedic Davis Bloome), a character who sends Superman to meet his maker in the comics, will be played by Sam Witwer. Witwer will be a familiar face to science-fiction fans; he played Crashdown in Battlestar Galactica, and has had roles in JAG, Dexter, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Also joining Smallville is Cassidy Freeman, who will play Luthor's successor Tess Mercer. A previous casting call noted that she would her powers of seduction on Clark, and that she was "brilliantly manipulative and dangerously sinister." Freeman was previously attached to the TV pilot Austin Golden Hour.
Get out of my pub indeed!

So from the man who killed superman, to the man who probably wont kill Clark Kent, but if he somehow does, he wont be dead for long anyway.

Catchy

Hang on....Doomsday's alter-ego?? Yep. FUBAR'd before it's begun.

A paramedic who turns into an unbeatable monster, havnt they ripped that wholesale from Glory in Buffy?

Pretty much. But sadly, this time no Trachenberg. Epic fail all round really.

Mmmm....Ben.

Sam Witwer's not exactly a dog either...

He's Darth Vader's secret apprentice.

Crashdown was always one of my favourite pilots. He could point and shoot with my joystick any day!

(well, not really, I think he might be cross eyed or something.. and his character was a cock)

He had a good death scene.
