2+ hours of contrived bullshit just to get Chloe to forget Clark's abilities?

Yup, sounds like Smallville!

Yeah....that was kinda stupid, even if I think this has been a far better season than last year.

It has been an improvement. That cannot be taken as much of a compliment though.

I don't know why they've gone the direction they have with Doomsday. I mean, we finally get one of Superman's most dangerous and kick ass adversaries and he leads a double life pining after Chloe Sullivan and driving an ambulance?

....buh?

Chloe's reaction to Doomsday did make me laugh hysterically out loud though. Unintentional as it was.

^LoL...are you talking about when he grabs her chin and she screams? Yeah, that was cheesy.

I can understand people having a problem with Doomsday, ie his origins and all this. But I actually like Davis Bloom (especially when he doesn't have any clothes on), and that Chloe is for once the girl most of the guys once, instead of the boring Lana and the ugly Lois. Hmpf.

I still wish I could figure out why Brainiaic is letting Doomsday bring her to the fortress. Is it to take over her mind again? Or is it some weird thing to create a superace with Doomsday and a "meteor freak?"

That's the one. It was fucking hilarious.

Haven't watched Smallville in a couple of years, I think it was on opposite Lost or maybe Veronica Mars. This was before I had a DVR that would let me record one thing and watch another.

Anyway, the last one I remember seeing was Lex "dreaming" that he was married to Lana and she dies in a car accident or something.

Is it worth "buying" (by that I mean, "illegally downloading" the seasons I missed?

No.

Well alrighty then!

To take over her mind again and instruct Doomsday to kill the "other Kryptonian"

Saw a couple last night, pretty decent episodes, but damn Clark looks old.

There's only so much foundation can do.

We're up to the one where Kara came back (then left again right away to find "Kandor" without actually explaining to viewers what Kandor is, and yes, I know it's a city in a bottle, but not everyone's read comics...anyway) and Lois was possessed by Zod's wife who is Doomsday's mum. Actually the whole thing with Crashdown and Doomsday is a lot like Ben and Glory from Buffy...he's even a paramedic too.

Tess seemed like a good addition at first but she hasn't done much for a while now. Green Arrow is okay. Allison Mack is the best thing about the show and I'll watch as long as she's in it.

I liked the line in one of the ones last night where Lois said a fortune teller told her her love of her life would be a tall man who liked flying and wearing tights, so shes looking for a cross dressing pilot.

I rolled my eyes at Lois being convinced that the whol visit to the Phantom Zone was "a dream". She's functionally retarded at this point.

Well the people of smalville get knocked out by blows to the head so often its a wonder they dont all have massive head tumors

I did a search some time back for Smallville statistics. I'd love to see how many cliche plot devices they've used and the number of times they've used them.

I swear Lois has been knocked out just in time to miss seeing Clark using his abilites at least in to the double digits by this time.

Holy crap I'm so glad I never got into this. There were times I almost had regret, but no more. :hmm:

It's a shame it's impossible to give up on sub standard sci-fi/fantasy shows. :(

^It's a damn shame, I say. I'm invested now to see how it ends. Just like Andromeda.

Oh...AND MERRY FUCKING CHRIASTMAS...I'M ALREADY VERY VERYD RUNK WHEEEEEEE

Well they keep on saying we will never see Clark become superman, so I guess it ends with him going off to become something we never actually see.

The ultimate 8 year cocktease.
