So I see nothing has changed.

I have been Volpone since we used Gopher server to find MUDs and Usenet groups to bitch about Wesley Crusher on.
 
I used loktar for the first website I signed up for back in 1997.....comedycentral.com.
 
I think my first internet username was SUPADORK, then SUPADORKRETURNS. So basically, they've always been misspelled, and terrible. I remember being skinnytheclown at some point in Talk City. It got banned for some reason. Or was it called Chat City?

I miss chat rooms.
 
Yes chat rooms were the best. Trolled a kid by telling him I was Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and Cartman from South Park, Colorado when he wasn't buying the Ash Ketchum troll. Giving fake spoilers in the Nikita chat room was fun too. Less fun was the follow feature which allowed some girl to follow me from chat room to chat room after I made a nasty comment/joke.
 
Before the days of PM was the "whisper" feature. I miss the faceless anonymity of the old days. :(
