Yeah, good episode, I take it when Ben first appeared in the Desert he had just teleported?
Like the bear before him, but he wasnt sure at first as to wether he also moved in time.
Felt nothing for the extras that got shot, didnt feel a lot more for Ben's daughter, just a shame she died thinking her dad didnt love her.
Is Kearney the same guy played the irish theif in heroes?
So they cant kill Widmore for some reason, possibly time travel paradox related.
I cant help but wonder if Ben wasnt behind the killing of Sieds wife, rather than Widmore, to get him on Bens side, and make him think it was his idea.

Yeah, why would Widmore just randomly kill Sayid's wife anyway? Also interesting that Ben lied to Sayid and said he left the island using Desmond's boat and not the transporter room. So Sayid doesn't know about the transporter room. Which means the Oceanic Six don't leave via the transporter. Unless they're all transported while they're asleep or something.
Alex's death was disappointing since there was a lot more they could do with her. Seems lazy to just kill her, Danielle and Karl rather than, you know, give them a story. I know the producers have said Danielle's story will be told in flashbacks, but they said that about Libby and all she's had so far is two three second cameos. It was quite an upsetting death too since she's a hot 16 year old (though Cally's death in BSG was far better done.)

The only thing that might make me think Ben didnt arrange the death himself, was that he saw Syied on TV after his wife was killed, and seemed surprised to see him.
So its possible he wasnt behind it, but certainly used it to his advantage once he learned it had happened.
