I thought it was odd when Kirk said it to her, because, being a Lietenant, she already was a, y'know, officer.

Someone should start a thread about that at trekBBS, then come back in a few days and see the argument about it has spread to seven pages.
 
It is from VI. Chuckles said something to that effect to Icheb when he hid the Antarian Cider in Shattered as well IIRC. A blatant call back to the line from VI.

You're always set to away(although it is amusing to add people to massive chats when they're clearly incredibly busy)!
 
I used to get added to the LONAF chats and be annoyed since I didn't want to talk, then I stopped being added to them and was even more annoyed because I was being ignored.
 
You're not being ignored anymore, there just aren't any massive MSN chats. Those days are long gone. :(
