This is really cool and a great use of the back catalogue. Reminds me of my dream with the monster trucks. I recognise most of the pieces, but what's the hexagonalish ship on the left?

I think it's Rick Sternbach's concept design for a runabout. Whisky built one a while back.

It was your dream that inspired it.

Something I built for a fan film on sci fi, thats why its in peices, they will pitch a fit if they recognise it.

Noone likes the picture over there anyway.

The only thing I'd add is a little bit of bloom to get that "ow, my freakin eyes it's bright here" effect.

Quite how I would add visible footprints when the people are only 4 or 5 pixels high is anyone's guess.

You should do one when it was brand new and still shiny. Did the Jawas steel them from someone? I read about about them wookieepedia for hours one day.

Its a site full of pretentious people that fall into several categories.

a) really good artists, who are completely up their own arses and look down on anyone not at their level
b) quite good artists looking for feeback on their work, but never actually getting it
c) mods and admins who used to be artists, but dont actually do anything now other than overmod, and underadmin, out of touch with the regular members
d) new modellers wanting to be artists, asking a lot of questions, these people tend to get shot down by the a's and c's.
e) people who just turn up and expect someone to model them an ILM quality model in two hours for no money so they can use it for an RPG with no credit
f) people who think star wars is the most important thing in life, and find it hard to fathom its not real.

They have a community relations problem, but either don't realise or don't care. Also, talking about politics or religion is banned, which I understand, but think is a bit silly in the general discussion forums where virtually any other subject can be discussed.

They are even getting anal at renderosity now, I cant believe a site that thrives on pictures of naked women is getting so picky when it comes to what you can show on the preview of your image.
