Star Trek: Countdown (SPOILERS)

I'm going to see if I can download this, unless piratebay has been retconned in this time line

Romulas being destroyed was a pretty ballsy move, as was almost killing Worf (although him on the bridge of the Nerada looking for Nero was pretty cool).

But what I liked best is that Spock and Nero's travel through time was both:

A) A one-shot thing (falling into a technobabble black hole what was sealing up a technobabble supernova)

and

B) Accidental

Which makes a few things make sense, like the "Of course the big question is if NERO has a time machine why doesn't he just go back and save Romulus?" question.

Do not dread the movie. The movie is good. Saw a free promo screening of it last night.

The movie doesn't officially come out until May 8th. Don't want to risk spoiling stuff for people who haven't seen it. Plus I suck at writing reviews. I'll let Tomtrek, Menty, or even you take a crack at a review.
 
Read all four this morning, it was ok, but if Spock had been living on romulous for forty years shouldnt Picard be over a hundred by now?

Plus that's the longest they have kept an enterprise without blowing it up.
 
I haven't bothered reading all of Countdown To Darkness yet as, by all accounts, it doesn't tie into STID at all. It doesn't even have any amusingly bizarre moments like Nero meeting V'Ger (unless you count Harry Mudd having a Bajoran daughter...which I don't.)
