Yub seems to get a perverse joy out of discovering that the occasional person didn't like a movie which he hasn't seen.

I watched the first half hour of a screener on my LCD TV. Visually quite interesting, although I could spot all the scotch-taped earmarks of a boozy Cameron script with my eyes closed. He's never been quite this self-referential before, either. I was looking around for Bill Paxton to jump in the frame and start butting heads with Michelle Rodriguez after a while.

I'm surprised with the hundreds of millions of dollars spent, that the facial expressions of the avatars aren't more impressive. But maybe that's one of the things that look better in a theater with funky glasses on that promote lazy-eye.
