For some reason, my brain keeps translating this into "Star Wars: The Littlest Jedi."

I blame everything from "Muppet Babies" to "The Ewok Adventure."
 
Star Wars: Han Solo having its director quit < 1 year before the film is supposed to be released is probably good news right
 
So they make a film about young characters, and hire very successful young directors, then fire them because the old man writer, the old woman producer, disagree with them on the tone of the film, then bring in another old man director to take over.

And the film is meant to be for a young audience?

Dick move Disney.
 
I just don't get how they managed to film for five months before realising that they weren't right for the movie. Did Kathleen Kennedy think "well the first two months they kept putting in jokes I don't like but maybe the next three will be better!"
 
probably kennedy came in and overruled editing choices or whatever and they said fuck this
 
She saw a Klingon in a crowd scene and a vein in her head burst.

I found that behind the scene look much, MUCH more exciting than the "look here's each character from the movie for a second" teaser trailer.
