Steve Jobs spoke to my wife in muted tones when she was anray at me one day. In a caring way he convinced her that I really wasn't such a bad guy after all and it would be a good idea to try to patch things up in the interest of all involved.

I don't know about the rest of the worlds children, but Steve sure cared about mine.
