Damn them, cant they see the brilliance that celebrity lego build has to offer?

FOOLS!!

Maybe we should start an online petition?

Emily should be one of the celebrity lego builders.

with lots of bending over

And she should use bricks of ALL COLOURS.

We, the undersigned [strike]request[/strike] demand that Channel 4 produce a television gameshow whereby celebrities race against the clock to build objects from Lego bricks. The models built each week could be decided by text votes, as well as the winner.

So say we all.

Denied!

They say they dont make their own programs and I should pitch it to an independant company.

Fucking pussies!

Start sending them bags of peanuts, that should work.

Did they seriously email you back? LOL.

Dear Rich,

Thank you for your letter concerning submission of material to Channel 4.

We would advise you that Channel 4 do not make the programmes we transmit but commission or purchase them from independent production companies and distributors.

Therefore, you would need to approach an independent production company with your outline and persuade them to help develop the idea. The television trade newspaper, BROADCAST, publishes a directory called 'The Production Guide' which lists names and addresses of independent production companies.

The British Film Institute also publishes a Year Book which lists production companies. PACT (Producer's Alliance for Cinema and Television) publish a handbook with details of their membership which is made up from independent production companies, a copy of which you should find in the reference section of your local library.

You may also find our 4Producers website helpful in regard to submitting programme idea proposals to Channel 4. Visit www.channel4.com/4producers for further information.

We hope that this information is of help to you and wish you luck with your project.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us here at Channel 4, we hope you continue to enjoy our programming.

Regards,

Joe Fitzpatrick

Enquiry Details: I just think it would be a good idea, with all
these current celebrity shows where they cook, or dance, or sing, or
whatever, that you could have a show where they spend 30 minutes making
something out of lego.

It would be cheap, appeal to adults and kids, and you probably wouldn't need
to look any further than lego itself for sponsorship.

Additional Comments: This isn't a joke idea.

Possibly Richard Hammond to present.

I think it was Richard Hammond that put them off.

*genuinely cracks up laughing at whisky's original e-mail*

I may have had a drink or two when I sent that

It sounds really innocent, but it WOULD make a great show!

Seriously, lego building is more challenging than Deal Or No Deal.
