I feel like that is a thing anybody should do at something with "Big Daddy" in the name.
The Klingon captain was played by the same actor who played Hemmer!I ALMOST FELL BACKWARDS OUT OF MY CHAIR LAUGHING WITH THE KLINGONS.
Agreed on the stuff between the songs. I don't like musicals, so getting through this episode was a pain.I wondered why his name was in the cast at the end
I thought I would have liked it more, given how much I like Mamma Mia and Grease , but to me the songs were the worst part of the episode with really repetitive lyrics.
The stuff that happened between the songs were better for me, cannon watchers should like the Korby and Carol references.
Maybe your brain thinks that Carol Kane and Carole King are the same person. Mine did!I just assumed Carol Kane can sing for some reason!
It very much reminded of that Buffysode. Not a bad thing.I liked it fine I guess? I had no problem with the premise, with reality changing and everything turning into a musical. Great; go nuts! I have enjoyed tv musical episodes before. But the songs just weren't that good here? Like there were definitely fun moments in them and I definitely thought "this person is good at singing" (Uhura being the best) but...they were all so samey? A bit basic? They went on too long and I actually got bored during some of them. They didn't really do much in the way of interesting choreography either (it was nice when the ships were spinning around at the end.) The obvious point of comparison is the Buffy musical and man stuff like 'Under Your Spell' and 'Rest In Peace' and 'Where Do We Go From Here?' (and the rest really!) were lightyears ahead of anything here. Maybe I expected too much.
I guess M'Benga's actor was the Alyson Hannigan as he only sung like two lines. I kind of expected Pelia to sing more too, I just assumed Carol Kane can sing for some reason!
The Kligon bit was great but they weren't even onscreen for half of it! An odd choice!
Oh she was in WickedMaybe your brain thinks that Carol Kane and Carole King are the same person. Mine did!
I thought it was kind of adorable. La'an was my favorite part, but Uhura was the best singer.
