It felt like live action Lower Decks, but I did enjoy it and thought the transporter accident explanation was a reasonable excuse for a very unreasonable event.
After this I don’t know what the rest of the season’s plots are, so I’m hoping for a really rare gimmick like a Star Trek themed episode.
Just watched the noir episode yesterday too and I thought stylistically it looked great, and Kor was a very interesting and well acted character (that could’ve had any other name), but I kept waiting the whole episode for the real reason the resistance leader looked like Una. I expected a twist, but it really was a wild coincidence. Very in keeping with TOS in a similar way to the first episode’s high concept plot, but it was too big a leap of faith for me.
