Super Duper Tuesday is Upon Us

So who are you voting for?

I'm still tempted not to vote but with Billary balling like a baby and making people like her I feel that I should at least try to get a Repulican back in the race.

My dad's voting for Mitt Romney but in that case he might as well vote for a scientologist, a cult is a cult after all.

I think I'll vote for McCain but we'll see.

Things are looking good for McCain even though I do think we need someone younger. Guys his age should be retired and playing golf someplace.

Out of the dems Obama is the only one I can stand to listen to, he seems like a man who tries to bring the country together. Hillary is too partison and would be a president just for the democrats alone.

Well Bad Dog, we've had our differences but I must thank you for taking my thread seriously.

I liked Obama okay up until I heard some of his fellow senators comment about his abilities. Seems Obama is exciting but has done nothing we've had Bill Clinton once do we really need him again in the form of a black man?

I just dont care for the Clinton's at all. I would rather see a black man have on the job training then have billery yapping all the time.

There is a 90% chance I will just vote GOP and if its McCain I guess i will vote for him.

That "I'll just vote for McCain" attitude, I feel the same and how sad are we? I just don't have a passion for any GOP candidate all I truly know is that I don't want to see Billary in the White House.

how sad are we?

Way up there. ;)

The Republicans won't win. You've had 8 years and the quality of living is down from When Bill was in office. Bush is nothing but a laughing stock. A once dangerous but now lame duck laughing stock. Everyone who voted for that moron is to blame and probably feeling at least a little stupid by now. Everyone is sick of the neocon rhetoric and that's why I believe the Dems will take the next election if they don't screw up from here to then (they are good at screwing shit up)

There is nobody -sans Ron Paul- who is offering anything except more of the same old tired bullshit. Out of everyone on the ticket (who has a chance, sorry Dr. Paul) I would likewise go with McCain (he's almost bearable sometimes) but I don't think he would make a good POTUS.

The rest are crusty dull God Squad lunatics. Had too many of those.

On the Democratic ticket you have Obama and Hillary. I can't stand Hillary whatsoever. She's a hack. So that leaves Obama. Sure, he's inexperienced but so was Bush (LOL SO NOT SEELING IT ON THAT POINT.)

If he runs with the right Vice, and crew it shouldn't matter. He is the best hope you have for getting America back on track.

And who that VP would be is a major question. If Obama wins the nom, there will be pressure on him to pick someone who would be accepted as a replacement president, mostly because the snarky CW is that Obama would either fail as a one-termer, or be assasinated in office (LOL YES AMERICA IS STILL RACIST LOL).

Hilary won't accept it, tho she'd be a fool not to. Edwards won't want to be the second banana again like he was with Kerry. That leaves a wide open field for opportunists and oldtimers who feel entitled in the party.

If Hilary wins the nomination, it's a no-brainer: pick Obama. That way you get the women's vote and the black vote. It would be a walk-off home run.

You know who should run with Obama? And who would be "PERFECT" to balance out the ticket.

I'm not aware of there being any constitutional law on the limit of terms a VP can serve. Maybe I'm wrong.

I can't even disagree, the GOP's got nothing...Just about anyway. The nice thing is that no matter who you're pulling for in the primary once the candidate has been chosen, Republicans as a whole get right behind the candidate. It's a nice show of solidarity.

The Republicans won't win.

I disagree, the chances are low but put Obama or Billary on the ticket and the chances go up significantly. Some think it's sad that the U.S. appears to be behind the times in not electing a female or minority as president but there's no proof that a female or minority can do any better job than a white male so it doesn't break my heart.

You've had 8 years and the quality of living is down from When Bill was in office.

Again, I disagree. My family almost lost their ass under Clinton, he was a theif and a disgrace. Why do I care if there's a surplus of funds in the government bank? It's my money what do they need it for? Certainly not the military, it was a skeleton when Clinton left office, some have even opined that that's why 9/11 happened when it did. Osama Bin Laden knew Bush would strengthen the military and had to strike while the national security was low. Some people liked Clinton because the world was our pal and everyone thought we were neat-o, who cares! I don't live my life to be liked and I absolutely couldn't care less if any other country on this planet likes my country.

Bush hasn't done everything as I believe everything should be done but he's been an incredibly effective president. The liberal media would never report that so I completely understand your point of view but things aren't as cluster fucked as the media would like you to believe. TRUST ME when I tell you Menty, the media and it's moles would have exploded if there was any real dirt on the Bush White House. Bush has been vertually scandal-less.

I don't regret voting for Bush, I'm disappointed with his handling of the war in Iraq but I'm much better off financially and feel far safer with him in office.

The only reason I wouldn't vote for Ron Paul is because he's like a Ross Perot, makes great sense and then gets his name on the ballot gauarnteeing a Dem win. I didn't vote for Perot but I know too many people that did and we had to put up with Bill Clinton because of it. McCain has my vote and not just because I like his politics but also because I can't imagine having a President Huckabee. ;)

The rest are crusty dull God Squad lunatics. Had too many of those.

What or rather who do you mean?

On the Democratic ticket you have Obama and Hillary. I can't stand Hillary whatsoever. She's a hack. So that leaves Obama. Sure, he's inexperienced but so was Bush (LOL SO NOT SEELING IT ON THAT POINT.)

Don't like Billary if only for her relaunch of Hillary-Care alone. And Obama is a do nothing as I said before. Bush was a governor so at least he ran something Obama hasn't done a thing, he's just pretty (to some, not me). We can't have a president that green, no way, what a huge mistake.

If he runs with the right Vice, and crew it shouldn't matter. He is the best hope you have for getting America back on track.

I'm not sure what you mean by "back on track"...The war is a mess but other than that things have been cruising along nicely.

Cruising along nicely? We have lost our leadership status in the world community on several levels. The dollar isn't worth the paper it's printed on outside our borders. And this Republican president has done the reverse of everything his party bleats about: government is bigger, more bloated and more up citizens' asses than ever before.

But everything will be OK once we convert some more misinterpreted Bible tenets into law. Because gays and fetus-chucking women are a bigger problem than the economy, foreign relations or healthcare. That's the impression the last two terms have left on the world, other than "we hate terror and we love oil". Please.

McCain for the win. Billary and Obama will mudsling each other into the ground, while McCain will survive, unscathed.

I voted Bill for his health care stance. That died a quick death in Congress. What makes me think Hilary's half-assed plan won't suffer the same fate?

You know, I do have a soft spot for McCain. I get these sense that he really DOES believe in honesty and truth and would bring that to the White House. Not bad traits by anyones stretch. Plus he is a political rebel and has a track record of being consistent and in control of his own beliefs as opposed to partisan obsession.

The problem is with his politics. I just don't think McCain is compatible with modern America or the world. (and sorry, but xenophobia is not a choice anymore. We all rotate on a ball of water and rock and America has to be the front runner in uniting the planet in economic and cultural stability. So I take affront to the idea that you can continue having a standoffish approach with the rest of the world.)

Pound to dollar ratio anyone?

As for the rest of the Republican ticket I just see more gay marridge, intelligent design, abortion. SECURITY, SECURITY, BORDERS, SECURITY bullshit being thrown about. There are bigger problems than Bible thumping and Romanesque shit being bandied about as "serious issues" in the world today.

I think you need Obama. Not so much for his political ability as much as what he represents in a lot of people. "Change" has been thrown about on the Dem ticket to an almost laughable degree but you can see why it is.

There is still a long way to go but I think Obama might just end up in the White House next January.

Please remember to bump this to laugh at my stupidity or marvel in my foresight next year.
