While I'm in-between broadband accounts I got a T-Mobile dongle. They have a Content Lock in place, that means you cannot access Youtube, and various other sites deemed unsuitable to under 18's unless you join up to T-Mobile - fair enough.

I've been playing Mafia Wars on Facebook (I've signed back up), untiul today, when T-Mobile in their infinite wisdom chose to block it - presumably fed up with the amount of use people worldwide arte putting into it.

Again, I can live with that, but I find it ironic that they deem Mafia Wars unsuitable for Under 18's, when it's about as childish as it gets, but allows you to register at any posting board you desire.

So here I am at TK - my mind being corrupted in it's veritable infancy, thanks to T-Mobile!

Needless to say, they have now joined the shit-list with Virgin and Sky.
 
I already hate them because of those adverts.

People shouldn't be wasting their lives playing games on their tiny cellphones anyway. They look silly doing it. LOOK AT OTHER PEOPLE. TALK TO THEM. BUY ONE A BEER AND PINCH THEIR LITTLE TUSH. RIGHT IN THE FATTY PART.
 
PC Update.

When the motherboard fried, it also burned out one of the hardrives that formed my striped set of hardrives. As a result, I've lost nearly everything from the hardrives.

Luckily, on the other hand, when I attempted to install Windows 7 back in November, I dumped the lot onto an external 2tb Hardrive, before wiping that following the PC's failure to happily accept W7. That can be restored, so it means everything I zip onto the new PC will be 5 months out of date.

A pain in the fucking arse when it comes to rebuilding everything on iTunes, and all my spreadsheets, but better than nothing.

Running cost to date: £550. I can also pay an expert to open up the formerly striped hardrives and recover the data that is otherwise unobtainable, but that will cost a fortune.

Technology sucks. Expect me to be pretty vacant from online life for some time, until I'm happy the new system is personal to me, despite at present having no personal files on it!

I've had AT&T for the past few years. I like them really well. I've heard a lot of bad stuff about T-Mobile.

I'm thankful to T-Mobile for having Pink do a free gig in Trafalgar Square one day when I was passing by, but the awful adverts they made using the event probably weren't worth it.

See, you think that riiiiight up until you get AT&T because that certain someone in your life will die if he doesn't have an iPhone.

AT&T sucks way worse, I hate it but at least it's cheaper. It should be seeing as how 50% of my calls get dropped and the service is horrible.

I suppose it all depends on where you live. (I'm in the Bay Area and you're south) I've had AT&T for the last couple of years and I really like them. I wish they had more coverage area, but most places I go they work great. I had Verizon before, and I did like the coverage area but they cocked up my bill so bad (took me 6 months to get it ironed out) that I ended up switching providers. Verizon's data service is slow though even though they have wider coverage. We have these tablet computers in the vans for work and they run on a Verizon network. They're slow as fuck. Most of the time I just end up accessing the server from my iPhone to close out my work orders instead.
 
I have AT&T and my service is great. Of course, my service started out as Cingular before AT&T swallowed them up, and my monthly bills suddenly had a new logo on the letterhead.
