I find that a 5 to 6 inch (12 to 15 cm) difference in hight between the Man and Woman makes it just about perfect in ballroom or Latin dancing. She can wear a 3 inch or so heel, and still be just slightly shorter (makes turns easier).

I'm 5'8, the S/o's 5'2 (and a half...or so she claims). Now if she only had blue eyes I could sing that song...

But I'm also 6 feet wide, covered in Blond hair/fur, blood shot eyes (all three of them), and have size 19 feet. I don't think any of that counts in this discussion, however.

I am exactly 5'..... if I stretch when measuring. I barely reach the bottom line on the wall chart at Stop and Rob. I can't reach the top shelf, cant change a light bulb.... unless I get a ladder in from the garage. I'm often overlooked at places with tall counters because the clerks can't see me. I barely see over the steering wheel of my car and I can't drive full sized pickups because I can't reach the clutch.

I once went on a date with a cowboy who was 6'7".
