I don't really believe that he was just picked to do it by being nominated by the other influencers. They wouldn't have put Angry Ginge in, would they, because he's actually famous (was on I'm A Celebrity last year, which is much bigger than BB.) So what if he'd been nominated instead?

I'm still a bit confused. I assumed all the influencers were reasonably well known (like I said, Angry Ginge is legit famous) but maybe he's just as the same level of fame as an average BB housemate.

Kind of like how Drag Race's Salina EsTittles was in the BB US cast this season but under his real name Jason. He kept his Drag Race appearances a secret from the other HGs.
But he regretted it later because there are two Survivor players in the house being treated like celebrities and he wasn't. And then he was an early eviction. But he has a huge following now and is basking in fan love.
