I am so sorry to hear this, Jenna. My prayers and thoughts are with you, hun. Tech was the best.
 
I remember him back in the days of TBBS. He was always there, somewhere. And now we won't see him post again. It's hard to relate that to a person having died. He'll be very sadly missed. :(
 
My condolences Miss Manners. This is affecting all of us in mysterious ways. Tom was a notable presence and is missed. Thank you for posting the information about Soldiers' Angels in the Wordforge thread. I think a lot of us were hoping to do something like that. It means a lot to know he was active with them.

I'm too wary of things like this on TK to really know how to feel, but having said that I will not hesitate to extend my sincere condolences, none the less.

I am just down all day today since the morning time. I can't really believe he is gone. I wish Tamar or Elwood could uplift my lock on the account at WF so I can pay my tribute to him.

Shit, this just sucks. I haven't PM'ed him since I got off WF, but I had PM convos with him at least 3-4 times a month. I remember giving him his first shiny pip and keeping it there with constant posrep bombardment on him, and he thanked me graciously for it.

All in all, he was a great guy. Fuck I really really wish Elwood could unlock me there, so I can join in on the mourning.

My condolences again to you MM. I know he loved you utterly and dearly. He was a great man.

It is with experiences like this one that we are reminded how fragile and tenuous our time really is here on the planet. There are reasonable assurances that the sun will rise tomorrow as planned, but absolutely no guarantee any of us will be there to witness it.

I am very sorry for you, Jenna, in your loss, and for the loss of those friends and rivals Tom had online and in life. For the rest of us, myself included, a moment of reflection on those we love and hate in our own lives: is there something that needs to be said, a task that needs doing, forgiveness asked or granted, emotion that needs to be expressed? Please go attend to it now, because "later" is not a certainty. And when such things are spoken at graveside, the only response is an echo.

I'm touched to see the feelings for Techies loss, and the support for missmanners. This thread should prove once and for all for those that weren't aware of it, that TK is just as caring and tightknit a community as any other.
 
I am so sorry Jenna, my heart breaks for you. I will always remember Techman in that funky '70's picture he posted at WF where he looked like Ted Nugent...It's a good memory to have.

Now I'm always the first to advocate trolling in these threads dedicated to people who in reality we barely knew, full of meaningless gestures and empty words of support but the best way to troll this is to attack the truth or whats perceived as truth.

You're just being fucking lazy and stupid.

Before anyone bitches I've stated numerous times before that I'd want my own death thread to be trolled into the ground pissed on and ruined to the point that it would be only fit for the Badlands.
