Well...

I COULD make up this really heroic tale about how I dived in front the oncoming moving truck, saved the wee fuzzy kitten from certain annihilation, and got clipped by the rusty bumper in the process...

Sadly, it was nothing so dramatic.

I clumsily cut my head on some screws that were in the support bar of my metal shed outside last night when I was gathering materials to work on the dog's kennel.

Nothing like blood running down your face, though, to garner sympathy!

so did you get out of working on the kennel?
 
I can't remember the last time I had a tetanus. Probably when I had my Op in '02.
 
Ouch. Hope you're doing better, Neil.

After memorial day weekend we had an influx of patients come to our doctor's office for tetanus shots... Dangerous weekend, I guess.
 
I bought Hello Kitty and Care Bear band-aids for work. ;)
